SENYLRC is hosting a group viewing of Emerging Library Technologies II: Innovation, an online conference scheduled for May 3, 2011 from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm. Librarians, library assistants and staff are invited to attend. Come to SENYLRC to join your colleagues to view this online conference. There is no fee to attend, however registration is required. Please register as soon as possible. The cost for SENYLRC’s registration to host a group viewing is fully subsidized through SENYLRC’s regional automation program though New York State funds.

There is a lunch break in the webinar from 1:00 pm – 1:30 pm. You may bring your lunch (a refrigerator is available for your convenience)or a deli lunch is available for $6.00 – $7.00.  Exact change is appreciated.

The keynote session, on how the Internet and associated technologies affects your brain, will be presented by Professor Deborah Gagnon, PhD, Wells College, who specializes in cognitive psychology.
